Reward Boost is a way to increase the rewards you earn on Hilo by **activating a time-limited Boost Package using HILO**.\
The more you commit and the longer the Boost Package remains active, the stronger your boost becomes — all while staying fully transparent and under your control.

It’s a **performance and commitment boost** designed for serious users.

### How Reward Boost Works

Reward Boost is simple at its core:

* You activate a Boost Package using a chosen amount of HILO
* You select how long the Boost Package stays active
* Your rewards are boosted while the Boost Package is active

Your boost depends on **two things only**:

* How much HILO you use to activate the Boost Package
* How long the Boost Package remains active

Both factors matter. Neither one alone is enough.

There is a **maximum effective Boost Package size**, and boosts increase gradually.\

You can:

* Increase your Boost Package at any time
* Extend the Boost Package period to strengthen your boost
* Renew a Boost Package when a period ends to keep your boost active
* Request the return of the HILO used for the Boost Package after the period ends

### Auto-boost rewards (optional)

If you want to grow your boost automatically, you can enable **Auto-boost**.

When Auto-boost is on:

* Newly earned rewards are added directly to your Boost Package
* Your commitment grows without manual steps
* Your rewards grow through participation, not speculation

You decide if and when Auto-boost is enabled.

### Returning HILO from a Boost Package

Returning HILO is always your choice.

A return request becomes available **only after the Boost Package period ends**.

When the Boost Package period is complete, you choose what happens next:

* Renew the Boost Package to continue boosting your rewards
* Or request the return of the HILO used to activate the Boost Package

Returns are handled transparently and securely.\
Once returned, your boost simply returns to normal.

### Boost Package fees

HILO used to activate a Boost Package can be **fully returned after the Boost Package period ends**.

To support platform operations and keep the reward system sustainable, a **small return processing fee may apply** when requesting the return of HILO.

* Any applicable fee is **clearly shown in the app before you confirm**
* The exact fee amount is always visible on the platform
* No hidden or retroactive fees are applied

If no fee is shown at the time of return, none will be charged.

### Boost Package caps & limits

To keep Reward Boost fair and sustainable, the system uses clear limits.

* The **maximum amount of HILO** that can be used to activate a Boost Package is **2,000,000 HILO**\
  Using more than this amount will not increase boost strength further.
* The **maximum Boost Package duration** is **12 months**\
  Longer Boost Package periods are not available at this time.

These limits ensure that:

* Commitment matters more than sheer size
* Large holders do not dominate the system
* Rewards remain balanced across the platform

These limits are visible in the app and **may be adjusted in the future** as Hilo grows and usage patterns evolve. Any changes will be applied transparently and reflected clearly in the interface.
