Rewards FAQ
Everything you need to know about how rewards work on Hilo
This page answers the most common questions about earning rewards, eligibility, and distribution.
How do I earn rewards?
To earn rewards on Hilo, you must meet the eligibility requirements.
Rewards are not automatic for all users. Only eligible, active, and compliant users receive rewards.
You earn by:
Participating in markets
Voting
Staying active
Maintaining required score levels
Following platform rules
How are rewards distributed?
Rewards are distributed every minute.
Each minute, Hilo:
Checks which users are eligible
Calculates reward shares
Distributes rewards accordingly
This creates a continuous and fair distribution system.
Does my HIQ affect my rewards?
Yes.
Your HIQ directly affects your reward share.
Higher HIQ means:
Larger reward share
Better multipliers
Higher earning potential
HIQ reflects your performance, accuracy, and consistency.
Does my MIS affect my rewards?
No.
MIS does not affect your rewards.
MIS is used for:
System weighting
Data trust
Signal filtering
Rewards are based on HIQ only, not MIS.
Why didn’t I earn rewards during a certain period?
If you didn’t earn rewards, it usually means one of the following:
You were not eligible during that period
You didn’t meet the minimum requirements
You were inactive
You didn’t vote at least once in the last 24 hours
Your account was temporarily restricted
You violated a rule
How do I stay eligible?
To remain eligible for rewards, make sure you:
Vote at least once every 24 hours
Follow community guidelines
Avoid spam and abuse
Maintain the required scores
Stay active
Eligibility rules exist to keep rewards fair and meaningful.
Can I lose my rewards?
You cannot lose already-earned rewards.
However, you can:
Become temporarily ineligible
Miss out on future rewards
Have your distribution paused
If you violate rules or fail eligibility requirements.
I think there’s a mistake — what should I do?
If you believe something is wrong:
Check your eligibility status
Check your activity history
Make sure you voted in the last 24 hours
If everything looks fine and you still see an issue, contact support.
Our team will investigate.
How the reward pool works
Rewards on Hilo come from a shared reward pool, not a fixed personal balance.
This means:
Rewards are distributed among all eligible users
Your share depends on your performance and eligibility
The pool is split dynamically, minute by minute
If more users become eligible or active, the same pool is temporarily shared among more participants. As a result, individual rewards may fluctuate up or down over short periods.
Over time, the reward pool can increase again through platform activity and revenue, which may restore or improve reward levels.
This system ensures that:
Rewards remain fair
No rewards are guaranteed
Long-term participation is favored over short-term spikes
Important Principles
Rewards are not guaranteed
Rewards depend on eligibility
Rewards are performance-based
Rewards are non-gambling
Rewards cannot be bought
