FAQs

Will it be a completely new token/contract? Yes, it is a separate contract with 0% taxes.

Why separate? Because the current contract is renounced, we can't change the tax settings.

What happens if I don’t migrate before September 15? If you fail to migrate before the deadline, please contact our support team. We can assist you only if your tokens were purchased before the migration phase started, and a penalty may apply if there is a price difference.

Will the new liquidity be in ETH or USDC? Our current liquidity is paired with USDC. At the time, it was during bear markets and challenging conditions, so we thought it was safer to pair our project with a stablecoin. After considering feedback, we believe it’s more practical to pair with ETH, so we will go with an ETH main pool.

Why not open migration before adding the liquidity pool? It is necessary to add liquidity first to prevent users from potentially creating their own liquidity pool after migrating and then pulling liquidity, which could harm other users.

Do I need to sell my tokens? Not if you want to hold the new token/contract. Instead, you should migrate using our platform.

Is buying before migrating a good idea? Yes, if you want to hold the token, you can buy now and migrate. However, you will sacrifice 6% in taxes, but it’s similar to getting an early entry into the new token contract.

What if I have tokens in the dApp? Withdrawing from the dApp before migration is live will give you the current token immediately. Withdrawing after migration will give you the new taxless token.

When we deposit in the dApp, will it still buy HILO? No, after the upcoming update, your deposit will be in USD, and you will place predictions using USD. There will be a specific section for swapping USD to HILO tokens and withdrawing HILO tokens.

How do I migrate? Go to app.hilomarket.com, find the migration section, connect your wallet containing the tokens, approve, and migrate. You should see the new token in the same wallet within seconds.

How do I make sure the website is correct? You can visit CoinMarketCap, where our website is officially and securely submitted. Follow the links to reach app.hilomarket.com. Alternatively, you can use Dextools and other reliable platforms like Etherscan to verify the website.

Is it safe to connect my wallet? Of course, you are only connecting, signing in, approving the amount you want, and limiting our access to your wallet to only the tokens you want to migrate—nothing more, nothing less. This is a safe process.

Is the contract safe? The contract is safe, and you are only allowing it to use the tokens you approve. The contract can never use your tokens without your approval first. Make sure your Wallet is secure, and you can always track all activities on Etherscan.

I got a warning in my wallet while migrating—is that normal? Yes, this is a normal procedure from wallets as a safety feature, like MetaMask. You can safely ignore it once you’ve ensured you are using our verified website.

Connect button not working? Please refresh your browser or try using another one, such as Brave.

Approval issues while migrating Please try to approve all your existing tokens in the wallet. If you want to split your wallets, it's preferable to transfer the tokens that you don’t want to migrate out of the wallet first, and then proceed with the migration.

What if my tokens are staked and need days to unlock? Don't worry—your tokens will always be 1:1, and the migration window will be long enough for you to unstake and migrate.

If we unstake and migrate when it’s ready, do we suffer any sell tax? No, you can simply unstake when you want and migrate. The sell tax is only applied when you sell on the current contract (version 1 of the token).

Why can’t I unstake? Please ensure your tokens have been staked for at least a month, as this is the rule for staking in the V1 token. Also, make sure you have enough ETH for gas fees, and verify that you are using and connected to the correct wallet.

If I sell, will I receive the new token? No, you can only receive the new token by buying it once liquidity is added, or by migrating your current tokens.

What happens to my migrated tokens? They are automatically sent to us and used to provide liquidity for the new contract.

Do I need a HILO account to migrate? No, you can simply go to the migration page, connect your wallet, and migrate. There's no need to log in or register an account.

Can I migrate back to V1 of the token? No, once you migrate to the new token, you won’t be able to migrate back.

What actually happens when we migrate? When you migrate, you send your V1 tokens to our treasury, and you will automatically receive the new V2 tokens.

Are You Going to Update CMC and CG? Once the migration is completed and the new pool is open, we will start updating platforms like CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, and Etherscan to reflect the new price and new contract.

What happens to the V1 tokens? Since the liquidity is locked for over a year, those tokens will be balanced and liquidated gradually to support the liquidity on V2. Can we buy and sell the new token? Yes, you will be able to swap, buy, sell, and transfer the new token as soon as the migration starts.

Will this migration crash the price? This migration will attract new users and holders who were hesitant due to taxes. They will enjoy buying, holding, or trading the token, making this update beneficial for both holders and the tokenomics.

Is liquidity locked? In V3 Uniswap, anyone can add and remove liquidity and generate 1% of the fees. You might see people adding or removing LP independently; however, the main liquidity will never be touched.

Will the migration create inflation? No, because the circulating supply will remain the same.

Will liquidity keep increasing? Yes, liquidity will continue to increase steadily.

Will the token be available on Solana? Yes, right after the migration phase, the token will be available on Solana. It will have its own liquidity pool on Solana, paired with SOL. You can simply connect your Solana wallet and purchase the token using SOL.

Will we be able to bridge from ETH to SOL? Yes, there will be a tool in the dApp that will help you bridge effortlessly.

Will you list on other exchanges? Yes, this update will help us do that faster.

Will you update social platforms? Yes, we will update Dextools, CMC, CG, and Etherscan with the new token.

Won't this update inflate the token supply? This update will not directly inflate the token supply, as the demand and volume will exceed any minor fluctuations. This update is necessary for long-term success and will not negatively impact the final results.

Will there be staking for the new token? Of course, and with higher rewards.

How will you add liquidity to the new contract? From our treasury and the migrations.

What happens to the locked liquidity? We will wait until it's unlocked and then add it to the new liquidity pool, strengthening the tokenomics.

Will there be token burns? Yes, the dApp mechanisms will help burn tokens.

Will you always mint tokens? No, the token supply is fixed and limited.

What happens to the unmigrated tokens? The circulating supply will always remain at 100M tokens. The team will never add tokens to circulation without ensuring it stays at 100M. For example, if 1M tokens are added, 1M must be locked in other functions. The unmigrated tokens will remain in the treasury and be used accordingly. In some instances, there will be burns, liquidity additions, and other actions that benefit the project.

What are the blacklists in the migration contract? When HILO started, a few wallets were publicly and transparently blacklisted for heavily sniping the token and scamming other holders. These wallets remain blacklisted, but no further blacklisting will be done, and the token no longer has this functionality.

Why isn't the contract of the token renounced? The whole reason for the migration is that, in the early days, the previous management renounced the contract. This means the team couldn’t adjust or fix things along the way. By not renouncing the new contract, we retain the ability to make adjustments and improvements to the project as needed, always in the best interest of the project. Many elite and top-tier projects use this same strategy.

What are the utilities for the new token? There will be plenty of utilities, divided between financial utilities and practical in-dApp utilities.

  • Financial utilities include revenue sharing and voting.

  • In-dApp utilities will include voting on pools, creating pools, an oracle system, a PvP system, cashback, a ranking system, VIP features, social features, tipping/P2P, achievements, and more. Stay tuned for additional updates.
