Is HILOmarket like gambling or betting? HILOmarket is a decentralized prediction platform. While it shares similarities with betting, it’s built on blockchain technology and focuses on user-driven, transparent markets where outcomes are validated by the community — not a central authority.
Do I need crypto to use HILOmarket? Yes, you’ll need some crypto — mainly USDT (automatically converted on deposit) and HILO tokens — to participate in predictions, create markets, or vote. If you’re new to crypto, we recommend starting with a wallet like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet.
What is a "market" in HILOmarket? A market is a question or event where users can predict outcomes. For example, “Will Bitcoin be above $60k by the end of the month?” You choose a side, add a prediction amount, and receive rewards if you're correct.
Is there a minimum deposit to use the platform? Yes, each supported token has a minimum deposit amount. If you deposit less than the minimum, the transaction may be rejected or lost. Always check the current minimum on the deposit page.
Can I lose money on HILOmarket? Yes. If your prediction is incorrect or your liquidity is used on the losing side of a market, you may lose all or part of your funds. However, risk is visible upfront, and you control how much you want to commit.
Is there a mobile app? Currently, HILOmarket is web-based and optimized for mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app may be released in the future.
How long does it take for markets to settle? Settlement depends on the type of market. After the event ends, it goes through the proposal, challenge, and voting process. This may take up to 24–48 hours depending on activity.
What happens if there's a tie in the voting stage? If there’s a tie between options (e.g., Option 1 vs. Option 2 vs. Postpone), the market defaults to Postpone, and the process starts again with a new proposal.
Can I cancel a market after creating it? No, once a market is submitted, it must go through the evaluation process. If rejected, your liquidity is refunded, but the creator fee is not.
Where can I buy HILO tokens? You can purchase HILO on supported decentralized exchanges (DEXs). Check the official website or community announcements for the latest listings.
Can I use HILOmarket without MetaMask? Yes. You can log in using Google or email through Privy, or connect other supported wallets via WalletConnect.
Is HILOmarket audited? Security is a top priority. Audits and safety reviews are ongoing. Please refer to the Security section in the documentation for updates.

What happens if I forget to vote or challenge in time? If the timer ends before you act, you won’t be able to participate in that round. Make sure to check timers and act before expiration.
